The waiting period on this grocery society for you and your dependents is eight months and provided the policy has started and first premium is paid.
The policy of the grocery society will lapse if premiums are not received for three consecutive months.
Only the society holder/main member is allowed to do any changes on the policy, however the premium payer does have an authority to change/adjust mode of payment specifically debit order & stop order.
The cover will only start on the first day of the current month if we receive premiums between the 1st and the 7th day of that month. If we receive your premium after the 7th of that month, it will start on the 1st day of the following month.
You can pay using Cash, Debit Order, Stop Order or Easypay.
The following documents are required at claim stage:
- A fully completed funeral claim form from your funeral parlor.
- A certified copy of the deceased’s national identity document or passport.
- A certified copy of the computerized death certificate.
